So the title of this posting comes from one of my top 5 favorite songs by far my favorite band, Kings of Leon, also known as

My infatuation started with them the summer of 2008 when they played at Glastonbury and performed their hit single "Sex on Fire". The tune was obviously catchy and got them to start headlining EVERYWHERE.

Their sound is unique and soulful, yet rock sprinkled with a hint of dirty south making them a pretty epic band.

I have all their albums in my iTunes library and listen to them daily. If I'm not mistaken, yep, I just checked..."Use Somebody" is my #2 top played on my iPod. It's been played 119 times since I've bought the album and continues to stay on my Top Rated playlist and will be there for a long time.

*FUN FACT*: The song to beat is Girls Aloud- Sexy! No No No which tops my iPod at 168 times!

This summer the Followill boys will visit nearby in August and one of my besties and I are going!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Tis a sad sad day in World Cup soccer...

...Basically I was this upset yesterday

As many of you know, I'm a new lover of the Italia team and yesterday my favorite and beloved captain, Fabio Cannavaro--I'm pretty sure, lead his last game for the national Azzurri and my heart cried for them. So sad. I strongly dislike Slovakia right now as well as the World Cup officials for all the games...USA has been bullshitted too on these so-called phantom calls. We had a goal and it didn't count and then another that was offside, but i'm pretty sure the off side one was legit. It pains me that they were champions last World Cup and now they've gone home. I'm paying my respects to the team and their phenomenal and gorgeous captain, Cannavaro and Italia.

Girl in Bed...

She always bring the racket like Venus and Serena...

Some of you are not going to super enjoy the first part of this post, but it has to be done.

I recently went out to Applebees with the Glam Squad and had a fantastic time: gossiped, ate good food, talked about our latest silly bands, and of coarse what Glam Squad meeting could not be complete with a photo shoot or two?

Well as I posed with the group the pics were posted on facebook and of coarse I did not like my appearance. I'm posting what I looked like a year ago at this time and what I look like now...to me, I've gained weight and I don't like it one bit.

My last summer shot...around this time, give or take... most of Glam Squad give or take a member or two

and now....

I'm in the NAVY tee and I hate the way I look...so because of this pic I'm actually going hardcore now.

I'm talking fruits and veggies, rice cakes, special K bars, V8 Fusion, salads, and yogurt. I've only had 8 Nilla wafers and 4 chocolate Famous Amos (which are those mini crunch cookies) in the past 48 hours or so, and if anyone knows me AND knows that my job is at a bakery, they'd be super proud of me :) Not only have I taken a different attitude towards my diet in like the past two days, I've also been walking too.

Now i'm on my feet all day at work, but when I'm home, I sit on my bed and am on the computer for hours. So before I go all "gym" on myself, I wanted something more affordable...walking around my block. I figured out 2200 to 2500 steps on a pedometer can give you about a mile. I've decided that I'll start off walking at least one mile each day *weather and schedule permitting* and then work up to jogging and eventually running that mile. I'm 23 and shouldn't be unhappy in my appearance. So i feel i'm taking a step in the right direction.

OKAY....after all that emo crap let's discuss the important things in life....LIKE watching the World Cup and all it's glory!

This is why you should be paying attention... my boyfriend Fabio Cannavaro...ugh, words cannot explain the illegal things and acts I would do with this man

And of coarse...how can you not support a sport that has teams that do these kinds of stretches and poses?? I mean, honestly....you know those are thrusting motions LOL

Well I believe that's all the time I have for today...tomorrow I'm going to see Toy Story 3 with the niece and cannot WAIT for that!!!

When will my reflection show who I am inside...

So at work, I see gals walk around and am in awe of the longness of their hair. I've been trying to grow mine out for forever and its only like two inches past my shoulders. I've just been getting it trimmed and colored and/or highlighted, but this is the status I want to achieve:

ASHLEY GREENE

I mean why is she so beautiful and have fantastic hair. Yes I know their extensions, and we should all know...because I'm establishing this right now, I have a girl crush on her. She has agreat body and simple features that I sometimes wish I had...well I mean, obviously her body, but keep my boobs, only two cup sizes smaller than I am and I'd be happy.

But for right now I just want to focus on her awesome hair. I love her highlights and i think I'm almost there. I have an appointment on July 1st, so we'll see. I wanted my hair color to be like Kim Kardashian's when she was brown for like a minute and crushin' on Nick Jonas at the Teen Choice Awards last year, 'member?

Really Nick, you should know better than to make a face like that at Kim...she's super hot. Anyway, Ashley's hair color is where I'd like to be and when I get it done, I most definitely will be posting a pic on here to see if the comparison is pretty darn close.

That's all I got now...I'm peacin'. Gotta get up in ooohhh 6 or so hours. YUCK.

So I'm already on a new post, what gives?

Okay, well I've decided to also post my goals that I want to reach, I'm giving myself til the end of the summer, but I'd like to get to them as soon as possible, obviously:

1. Take old computer tower and effing get it fixed so I can transfer our music to the new home computer!
2. Not super happy with my weight or how I eat. A friend is makin' me a chart--she's a nutritionist major--and I wanna start following it. Plus another twitter buddy mentioned making a running goal of a mile each day.
3. Try and secure that internship at World Cafe Live.
4. Work my mojo and magic when I go to the conference/vacation this year with my dad. I gotta work those big businessmen on giving me a job

^^Now for those who really know me, understand for #2. I'll be walking forever before the running starts *grins*

Um...well that's all I have so far if anything needs revisions, they'll be added to the list, but probably not in numerical order, because the bullet-thingy on the blogger works for shit, so whatever...deal.
